Basic Pastry Training was Provided to Our Cooking Program Students

Muş Alparslan University Culinary Program Practice Kitchen hosted an important event for Basic Pastry Training. Social Sciences Vocational School, Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Services Department Lecturer. See. In the training given by Mehmet Gül and Gülbaran Bakery Master Fırat Karadağ, who is known for his experience in the sector, students interested in the art of pastry, academicians and participants interested in cake making came together.

The training provided participants with valuable information about the basics of cake making. Fırat Karadağ emphasized the importance of practical knowledge and skills as well as the artistic aspects of pastry, and showed the participants various cake recipes and making techniques. Karadağ aimed to increase the competencies of the participants in this field by providing training in a wide range from cake dough to decoration.

While Gül shared theoretical knowledge about pastry with the participants, he gave clues about the difficulties students face in the professional field. The training offered a great opportunity to combine theoretical knowledge with practical skills.

Our Rector Advisor Assoc. Prof. was among the guests of the training. Dr. Mehmet Özalper stated that the event has great importance both academically and professionally. "While such events help our students increase their competence in their fields, they also contribute to the local and regional economy. Pastry is a growing sector and will create more opportunities in the future," he said.
