Our lecturer Hüsnü KASAR was the guest of Ramadan Talks

The traditional ‘Ramadan Talks’ programme of our university started this year with great interest. The events, which will be held at the Çay Bahane venue with different topics and guests at 21.00 every evening during Ramadan, aim to keep the spirit of Ramadan alive by bringing together academic and cultural perspectives.

The first guest of the programme was Lecturer of the Department of Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Services. Lecturer. Hüsnü Kasar presented important information to the participants with his speech titled ‘How Should We Eat During Ramadan?’. Drawing attention to the necessity of a balanced diet for a healthy fasting process, Kasar made suggestions on the foods that should be consumed during iftar and sahur, the importance of fluid intake and diet.

Ramadan Talks will continue throughout the month with the participation of different academics and experts and will offer participants the opportunity to evaluate Ramadan in its spiritual, social and cultural aspects.
